A large Liverpool secondary school is seeking an experienced SENCO or Teacher of SEN who is looking to develop into a SENCO role. The position is a temporary role until July 2021. This role is to start immediately.

*** SENCO or SEN expereinced Teacher or HLTA to start asap


The school has an average number of pupils with SEN, and these needs range from mild learning difficulties to SEMH. There are a few cases of physical needs, but the school is well-equipped to support the progress and accessibility of these pupils.

As the SENCO, you will be responsible for maintaining the relationships with parents, teachers and external contacts to ensure the steady progress of pupils with additional requirements. The school itself is a collaborative one, and as such you will find that working alongside the various class teachers and support staff is a seamless and positive experience. You also have admin duties within this role. Experience in SEN is essential.
