Are you passionate about supporting children with special educational needs? Do you live in the London Borough of Waltham Forest?

We have an exciting opportunity available for a SEND Teaching Assistant to join a lovely Primary School located in Chingford, Waltham Forest. The role is due to start in March and will continue until the end of the school year in July - if things go well it can be extended further into the next academic year.

Role Details:

  • Provide 1-1 support for a boy in Year 1 who is Autistic.
  • Facilitate his learning and ensure he thrives in the classroom environment.
  • Collaborate with teaching staff and other professionals.

Desired Qualities:

  • Compassionate and patient nature.
  • Genuine passion for working with children with special educational needs.
  • Excellent communication skills.

Experience:

  • Experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential.
  • Full training and support will be provided.

Salary:

Starting from £85-95 per day, depending on skills and experience.

Start Date: March 2024
