Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a dedicated Level 2 Teaching Assistant to provide one-to-one support for a primary-aged child with additional learning needs. The successful candidate will be based in a mainstream primary school located in Widnes.
Responsibilities:
- Provide tailored one-to-one support to a primary-aged child with additional learning needs.
- Assist the child in their academic and social development, ensuring they are able to fully participate in classroom activities.
- Implement strategies and interventions to support the child's learning and engagement.
- Collaborate effectively with the class teacher and other school staff to create a supportive learning environment.
Requirements:
- Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
- Previous experience supporting a child with Autism is essential.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit the individual needs of the child.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting children with additional learning needs.
