Tradewind Recruitment are working with an outstanding special education needs school within Knowsley that caters for pupils aged 3 to 19. The school specialises in PMLD, complex needs and physical disabilities. We are looking for an experienced teacher with experience in teaching pupils with special needs for a Maternity Contract.

This role is for Monday - Friday from 8:30 to 3:30 on a long-term basis starting as soon as the schools re-poen following Covid-19.

The school aims to provide a supportive education program that is customised to the needs of your students so that they can work to the best of their abilities. Prior to starting the post, you will be invited in to the school to familiarise yourself with the class and resources available. You will be supported by three teaching assistants.

We are looking for a Teacher who is dedicated and passionate about supporting pupils with complex needs.

To be considered you will need
* UK QTS (any specialism)
* Experience in teaching pupils with autism, SLD and PMLD
* A passion to teach pupils with additional needs
* Experience in managing teaching assistants
