Are you a looking for a new opportunity in a Pupil Referral Unit based in Formby. We are looking for someone who has a sporting background ideally.
Are you a Teaching Assistant looking for a full-time position starting ASAP until the end of this academic year.
This is a full-time position on a long-term temporary contract, working 5 days per week 8:30am for morning briefing until 3.30pm for afternoon briefing, term time only.
The role is to work with a small group of pupils who are in Key Stage 3 (Year 7, 8 & 9) running sports sessions and covering for the PE teacher when needed. A sports coach would be a good option for this role, especially for those who are considering a career in education.
This role is subject to an enhanced DBS check and two professional references.

*Excellent communication and behaviour management techniques
*Confidence in dealing with challenging behaviour
*Be able to confidently work as part of the team and independently
