Then this new Teaching Assistant/Learning Support Assistant position could be the job for you!
Tradewind Recruitment have been asked by a charming and welcoming school to assist them in finding a reliable and committed Teaching Assistant to join their supportive team after February half term. The successful candidate will have the privilege to become part of a highly successful trust of schools, ranked the top performing trust national for primary outcomes in 2016/2017.
You will be assigned to a well behaved Lower Key Stage Two student currently working at a much lower level. Although no SEND's have been diagnosed, delays in speech and language development have been noted and they require 1:1 support to aid their progression.
The successful 1:1 Teaching Assistant will be expected to:
Incorporate learning in a primary classroom based environment.
Confidently communicate and follow instructions working collaboratively with the class teacher.
Take a patient, caring and compassionate approach while building effective relationship.
Have strong initiative.
Work well with all members of staff to ensure children's needs are being met.
The school is located on the outskirts of Harlow with parking available. They are in a position to consider taking someone on directly or a temporary to permanent basis ensuring the correct fit for both parties. Experience within a similar role is desirable though not essential, however a relevant degree or qualifications would be advantageous.
