Catch up Teaching Assistant

• Full and Part time hours
• Help support children who have fallen behind during the Covid crisis
• Work with small groups or on a one to one basis

Tradewind are working with several schools across the city seeking Teaching Assistants and Tutors to undertake tuition and intervention with those children who have fallen further behind during the Covid crisis.

You will be working with Primary aged children across Key Stages from supporting speech and language development in Early Years through to working on preparing Year 6 students for the transition into secondary school.

Schools are planning on delivering sessions after school from 3PM to up to 5PM so availability during these times as well as throughout normal school hours would be useful. You may also be working at different settings throughout the week so access to your own transport would be a benefit.

The focus will be on supporting pupils in core subject areas, English, Maths and Science and you will be working in small groups or on a one to one basis. Some of the children you'll be working with have additional special educational needs so previous experience in this field would be beneficial.
