About the Role:
We're seeking a committed individual to join a SEND school in South Liverpool, providing full-time support in a 1:1 capacity with a highly dysregulated child, in collaboration with another staff member. This temporary role extends until the culmination of the academic year.
Responsibilities:
- Offer tailored 1:1 assistance to a highly dysregulated child within a SEND school environment.
- Work closely with a fellow staff member to ensure the child's needs are effectively addressed.
- Apply Team-Teach methodologies and tactics to manage challenging behaviours.
- Support the child's educational and personal growth, respecting their unique needs and capabilities.
Requirements:
- Prior experience working with SEND children is vital.
- Possession of Team-Teach training certification is mandatory.
- Demonstrated ability to function effectively within a team.
- Preferred experience with non-verbal children.
- Proficiency in English language.
