Join our team as a Year 5 teacher at our client school in Bolton. As a Year 5 teacher, you will join a dedicated team who believe in supporting each other to create a collaborative team. The role begins in September 2024 and you be required for the academic year.

As a Year 5 teacher, you will be working alongside a caring staff who work together to create engaging lessons and use schemes of learning to support planning and resourcing. Previous experience with White Rose Maths and a mastery approach to teaching Mathematics would be beneficial. The school follows a 2 year curriculum for foundation subjects to ensure cohesive coverage and children build upon prior knowledge. The school places an emphasis on building positive relationships with pupils using a restorative approach to ensure good behaviour across the school.

The successful candidate will have experience of teaching Key Stage 2 and be able to demonstrate a strong track record of delivering excellent results. You will have a deep understanding of the curriculum and be able to plan and deliver lessons that are tailored to the individual needs of each child.

To be a success in this role, you will need to:

Have QTS or QTLS status
Have previous experience of managing behaviour and supporting children with SEN
Have experience with a KS2 class
Be subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional references checks
