RE Teacher - Brentford, Outer London - September 2025 Start

Tradewind Recruitment is working with a well-respected and high-achieving secondary school in Brentford who are seeking a dedicated and qualified Religious Education (RE) Teacher to join their Humanities department from September 2025. This is a full-time, permanent position, offering an exciting opportunity to teach RE in a supportive and forward-thinking school environment.

The school is located within easy reach of the Piccadilly Line, making it highly accessible from across West and Central London. Salary is paid in line with the Outer London MPS/UPS scale.

Role - RE Teacher

* Teach Religious Education to students across the key stages
* Inspire and engage students in discussions about ethics, philosophy, world religions, and belief systems
* Plan and deliver creative, inclusive lessons that meet the needs of all learners
* Promote critical thinking, tolerance, and respect in line with the school's inclusive values
* Work as part of a committed team, contributing to curriculum planning and wider school initiatives

Person Specification:

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a PGCE in Religious Education
* A degree in RE, Theology, Philosophy, or a related field
* Strong subject knowledge and the ability to deliver RE with clarity and passion
* Committed to student progress, wellbeing, and character development
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
