📣 Part-time Maths Teacher - Secondary School
Start Date: ASAP 3 Days per Week | Ongoing Role
Salary: £153 - £211 per day (depending on experience and pay scale)

Are you a passionate and qualified Maths Teacher looking for a part-time teaching opportunity in a welcoming and well-resourced secondary school? Tradewind Recruitment is currently working with a reputable school in Stockport, who are seeking a skilled Maths specialist to join their team as soon as possible.

This is a brilliant opportunity for a teacher who is seeking a flexible role, with the ability to focus on delivering engaging and effective Maths lessons without the demands of a full-time timetable. Whether you're an experienced teacher or a recently qualified ECT, we would love to hear from you!

The Role:

  • Teaching Mathematics to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 pupils

  • Working 2 to 3 days per week (days negotiable to suit your availability)

  • Planning and delivering high-quality lessons in line with the national curriculum

  • Supporting students of all abilities to achieve their full potential

  • Collaborating with the Maths department to maintain high standards of teaching and learning

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK

  • A degree in Mathematics or a related field

  • Recent experience teaching Maths in a UK secondary school

  • Strong classroom management skills and a passion for engaging learners

  • An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one)

  • Two professional references covering your most recent teaching roles
