📚 Are you a qualified teacher with a passion for supporting pupils with special educational needs? We are looking for a dedicated and skilled SEND Teacher to lead targeted interventions and provide 1:1 support for a small group of pupils in a highly-regarded mainstream primary school. This is a rewarding and varied role, ideal for a teacher who thrives on making a genuine impact.
📅 Start Date: ASAP or 24th February
💷 Pay: £140-£170 per day (depending on experience)
📆 Duration: Remainder of the academic year, with potential for extension

This inclusive and high-achieving primary school is known for its warm, community-focused ethos and commitment to supporting all pupils to succeed. The school has a small, well-established SEND provision for six pupils from Years 1 to 6, each of whom has an individualised timetable combining in-class learning and out-of-class interventions.
You'll be joining a dedicated and supportive team who work closely with families and external agencies to ensure that each child receives the personalised support they need.
✨ The Role
As the SEND Teacher, you will be responsible for:
* 🌟 Delivering high-quality, planned interventions tailored to the individual needs of each pupil.
* 👥 Providing 1:1 and small-group support, helping pupils achieve their academic and personal targets.
* 🧠 Monitoring progress and using data to inform teaching strategies and adapt support as needed.
* 📑 Supporting the SENCO with report writing, reviews, and referrals.
* 🤝 Liaising with external agencies and contributing to multi-agency meetings to share insights on pupil progress.
* 💛 Creating a safe, inclusive and nurturing environment where pupils feel valued and supported.
✅ Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must have:
* QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
* Experience teaching pupils with SEND, ideally across Key Stages 1 and 2
* Strong knowledge of intervention strategies and personalised learning approaches
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with staff, families, and professionals
* A clear, up-to-date CV with full employment and education history
* The right to work in the UK
* Willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS check
