About Us
At Tradewind, we specialise in matching skilled education professionals with schools where they can thrive. We're currently recruiting experienced SEND TAs to work in a range of supportive and inclusive schools throughout the Stockport area.
The Role
You will play a key role in supporting pupils with a range of additional needs, including autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and social, emotional and mental health challenges (SEMH). You'll work closely with class teachers and SENCOs to deliver personalised support and help every child achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide one-to-one and small group support to pupils with SEND
Implement individual education plans (IEPs)
Support pupils with emotional regulation and behaviour management
Foster a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment
Requirements:
Proven experience working as a SEND Teaching Assistant
Strong understanding of a range of special educational needs
A patient, caring, and resilient approach
A valid DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
