Salary£14.00-£16.00 per hour (depending on experience, paid via PAYE)
Tradewind Recruitment / SANZA Teaching Agency is currently seeking experienced and efficient School Administrators to support secondary schools across the London Borough of Ealing.
These are fantastic opportunities for professionals who have previously worked in school settings and are confident using SIMS (School Information Management System) to contribute to the smooth running of busy school offices.
About the Role
Working as School Administrators in a secondary school environment is a varied and rewarding role. The successful candidate will play a crucial part in ensuring day-to-day operations run efficiently and that staff, students, and visitors receive the support they need.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing and maintaining student records and attendance data on SIMS.
- Acting as a first point of contact for visitors, parents, and students - in person, by phone, and via email.
- Supporting the school's safeguarding procedures, including the accurate logging of late arrivals and visitor information.
- Assisting with admissions, school census, and data returns.
- Coordinating staff cover and managing timetables (if required).
- Handling administrative duties such as filing, photocopying, scanning, and responding to enquiries.
- Supporting senior leaders and teaching staff with administrative and clerical tasks.

- Have previous experience working in a UK school environment (essential).
- Be proficient in using SIMS and confident in handling sensitive student data.
- Be highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Be a team player with a calm and professional manner, even in busy school environments.
- Have a strong understanding of safeguarding and confidentiality in education settings.
