Start Date: Autumn Term 2025 (with possible extension)
Salary: London MPS/UPS - £198 to £258 per day (PAYE)
Location: Newham
Contract: Full-time, long-term

About the Role:
As a Design Technology Teacher, you will:
* Plan and deliver high-quality lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, potentially including specialisms such as Resistant Materials, Product Design, or Graphics
* Promote creativity, innovation, and technical skill in a well-equipped DT department
* Support pupils of all abilities, helping them develop practical skills and design thinking
* Use a range of strategies to meet the needs of diverse learners
* Contribute to department planning, assessment, and curriculum development

Person Specification:
To be successful in this role, you must:
* Hold QTS or an equivalent UK teaching qualification
* Have experience teaching Design Technology in UK secondary schools
* Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and classroom management
* Be organised, enthusiastic, and passionate about inspiring young minds
* Hold (or be willing to obtain) an enhanced DBS and provide a full 10-year employment history
* Have the legal right to work in the UK
