SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Secondary School, Tower Hamlets
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join our supportive team within the Bridge Department of our vibrant secondary school in Tower Hamlets.
The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting students with a range of special educational needs, helping them access learning, develop independence, and thrive in a nurturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide tailored support to students with special needs, both in class and within the Bridge Department.
Assist with individual learning plans and small-group interventions.
Foster a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment.
Work closely with teachers and the SEN team to deliver high-quality support.
Promote independence, confidence, and resilience in all students.
The Ideal Candidate Will:
Have experience supporting young people with SEN (desirable but not essential).
Be patient, caring, and committed to making a positive difference.
Have excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Show a proactive and flexible approach to meeting students' needs.
