Learning Mentor
Location: Secondary School, Tower Hamlets
We are looking for a motivated and caring Learning Mentor to join our secondary school in Tower Hamlets. This is a fantastic opportunity to support young people in reaching their full potential, both academically and personally.
As a Learning Mentor, you will play a key role in helping students to build confidence in their core subjects and prepare effectively for exams. You will work closely with teachers, pastoral staff, and families to ensure every student is supported to succeed.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide 1:1 and small group support in English, Maths, and Science.
Help students to develop effective study skills and exam techniques.
Motivate and encourage students to achieve their personal goals.
Monitor progress and provide feedback to staff and parents.
Support students in overcoming barriers to learning and maintaining a positive attitude towards their studies.
The Ideal Candidate Will:
Have experience working with young people in an educational setting.
Be confident in supporting core subjects up to GCSE level.
Be approachable, patient, and able to build positive relationships with students.
Show strong communication and organisational skills.
Be committed to helping students succeed, both academically and personally.
