Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant
Location: Secondary School, Tower Hamlets

We are excited to offer an excellent opportunity for a Psychology Graduate to join our secondary school in Tower Hamlets as a Teaching Assistant within the Psychology Department. This role is perfect for someone looking to gain hands-on classroom experience while inspiring and supporting the next generation of learners.

The successful candidate will work closely with teachers to support learning, provide targeted help to students, and contribute to creating a positive and engaging environment in the department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students with their learning in Psychology lessons, both in class and through small group work.

  • Assist teachers in preparing resources and delivering engaging lessons.

  • Help students to develop study skills, critical thinking, and exam preparation strategies.

  • Provide academic and pastoral support to students where needed.

  • Contribute to the wider life of the department and school.

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Hold (or be about to complete) a degree in Psychology.

  • Have a genuine interest in education and supporting young people.

  • Be enthusiastic, proactive, and able to work well as part of a team.

  • Have excellent communication and organisational skills.

  • Aspire to pursue a career in teaching or educational psychology (desirable).
