Midday Supervisor (SEN Support)
Location: School in Newham
We are seeking a caring and reliable Midday Supervisor to join our supportive team in Newham. The successful candidate will play an important role in ensuring that lunchtime is a safe, enjoyable, and positive experience for all students, with a particular focus on supporting children with special educational needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise students during the lunch break, ensuring a safe and inclusive environment.
Provide support and encouragement to pupils with special needs.
Assist with social interaction, play activities, and positive behaviour.
Help students with eating, mobility, or personal care, where required.
Work closely with staff to promote wellbeing and inclusion.
The Ideal Candidate Will:
Be patient, kind, and approachable.
Have experience working with children, ideally with SEN (desirable but not essential).
Be committed to supporting pupils' social and emotional development.
Be reliable and able to work well as part of a team.
