SANZA Teaching Agency are thrilled to announce a wonderful opportunity to work in a vibrant 2- form entry infant school located in Newham as a teaching assistant within early years (nursery/reception).

The school has onsite parking and is located close to Forest Gate station (Elizabeth Line).

About the role

The role will involve working across nursery and reception with different students with additional needs. You will work 1:1 with key students, as well as taking small groups of students for targeted interventions.

As a teaching assistant applying for this role, you will need to:

• Have experience working in a primary school
• Ideally have experience working within the early years (nursery/reception)
• Experience supporting children with additional needs
• A genuine love for working in the early years and ability to connect with very young children
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
• Understanding of pre-verbal communication methods and strategies  
• Knowledge of behaviour management techniques and the ability to adapt them to meet individual needs
