Are you an experienced or aspiring English Teacher with a desire to make a meaningful impact in SEN or alternative provision settings? Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking a compassionate and creative SEN English Teacher for ongoing opportunities across our partner schools in Northampton.
Location: Multiple SEN/AP schools in Northampton
Start: Immediate
Contract: Temporary with opportunities for long-term or permanent placement
This role is ideal for a teacher with strong behaviour management, differentiated planning skills, and a real love for English language and literature. You'll be teaching a varied curriculum designed to boost communication, literacy, and self-expression for students with SEND, including those with ASD, SEMH, dyslexia, and more.
You'll be responsible for:
Delivering creative, literacy-rich lessons tailored to learners' individual needs
Supporting academic and emotional development
Working closely with TAs, therapists, and school SEN teams
Experience in SEN or AP is highly desirable, but not essential - what matters most is your commitment to inclusive education and ability to adapt.
