SEN Class Teacher - Northampton

As the SEN Class Teacher, you will lead a class typically of 6-8 pupils, all with varied special educational needs including Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), Social Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH), and Moderate Learning Difficulties. You'll have dedicated Teaching Assistants and other specialist support staff working alongside you. Your role includes planning and delivering personalised lessons, adapting the curriculum to meet individual needs, assessing pupil progress, liaising with parents/carers, and fostering positive behaviours.

We are seeking someone who is creative, patient, and able to build strong, trusting relationships with pupils. You'll need experience working in an SEN setting, a sound understanding of strategies for behaviour management, and the ability to adapt teaching styles based on individual learning profiles.
