SEN Class Teacher - Kettering
Location: Kettering
Employer: Tradewind Recruitment
Contract: Permanent / long-term full-time
Salary: MPS/UPS + SEN allowance
Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking a caring, resilient, and passionate SEN Class Teacher for schools in Kettering that is committed to delivering excellence for children with special educational needs. If you're looking to work in a setting where your dedication is recognised, where staff collaborate, and where the focus is on each child achieving their best, then this may be the role for you.
As SEN Class Teacher, you will lead a small class ( 6-8 pupils) with a variety of needs-perhaps ASD, speech and language delay, SEMH, or moderate learning difficulties. The school provides excellent Teaching Assistant support, specialist input, and tailored learning resources. Your role will involve curriculum adaptation, close monitoring of pupil progress, planning individual education plans (IEPs), working closely with parents/carers and external professionals, and maintaining high standards of behaviour and engagement.
You will need to bring experience in supporting students with SEND, a creative and flexible approach to teaching, good communication skills, patience, and a drive to continually improve teaching practice. You will also work collaboratively with Leadership, Pastoral, SENCO and wrap-around support services.
Why Tradewind Recruitment is a great choice:
