Support pupils in regulating their emotions and developing positive coping strategies.
Contribute to the reintegration of pupils back into the classroom environment.
Develop strong, supportive relationships with pupils and maintain high expectations.
Liaise with parents/carers and external agencies as required.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Experience working with children or young people with SEND and/or behavioural needs in an educational or support setting.
A calm, empathetic, and consistent approach to behaviour and emotional support.
The ability to build strong, trusting relationships with students while maintaining clear boundaries.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
A commitment to inclusion and supporting vulnerable learners.
Training in de-escalation, trauma-informed practice, or emotional regulation strategies (desirable but not essential).
Why Join Us?
You will be part of a supportive and committed team who are passionate about helping every student succeed. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young people who need it most.
