Agriculture Lecturer - Northampton

Are you an experienced educator or industry professional in agriculture, horticulture, or animal care with a passion for education? Tradewind Recruitment is working with a fantastic specialist school in Northampton that is looking for a dedicated Agriculture Teacher or Lecturer to lead and inspire learners interested in land-based industries.

The school is committed to providing young people with the knowledge, skills, and confidence they need to succeed in agricultural and land-based careers.
The Role:
Deliver practical and theoretical lessons in agriculture and land-based studies (Level 2 & 3)
Teach modules such as crop production, animal husbandry, sustainability, machinery operations, and land management
Provide real-world insights and industry best practice in teaching
Supervise outdoor and workshop-based learning activities
Support learners with career planning, work placements, and progression routes
Embed health & safety and environmental awareness into lessons
Who We're Looking For:
Teaching qualification (QTS, PGCE, or FE teaching certificate) or relevant industry experience with a willingness to train
Experience in agriculture, horticulture, or a land-based sector
Passionate about working with young people in both classroom and practical settings
Strong communication and planning skills
Understanding of vocational education pathways
