Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking enthusiastic and reliable Cover Supervisors to work in a variety of secondary schools across the Kettering area.
This is an excellent opportunity for graduates, aspiring teachers, or experienced classroom professionals to gain invaluable school-based experience with flexible working options.
The Role:
As a Cover Supervisor, you will:
Supervise classes during the short-term absence of teachers
Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans and ensure students remain on task
Manage classroom behaviour in accordance with school policies
Support students' learning and deal with any issues promptly and professionally
Report back to the appropriate staff regarding progress and any incidents
Requirements:
Previous experience working with young people (in any capacity) is desirable
Strong classroom presence and the ability to engage with secondary-aged pupils
A proactive, flexible, and confident approach to managing a classroom
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one)
Right to work in the UK
