Part-Time Year 5 Teacher (Monday & Tuesday)
Long-term contract until July 2026
Southall | £200-£210 per day | PAYE (no umbrella companies)

A welcoming two-form entry primary school in Southall is seeking a committed and enthusiastic Part-Time Year 5 Teacher to join their Key Stage 2 team from September 2025 (or sooner if available). This position will run for the full academic year, working two days per week (Monday and Tuesday).

The Role

  • Teach a well-behaved and motivated Year 5 class, following the national curriculum.

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons for the days worked, ensuring continuity of learning.

  • Work collaboratively with the class teacher who covers Wednesday-Friday.

  • Contribute to assessments, attend key meetings, and liaise with parents when needed.

  • Take part in relevant professional development and staff meetings on your working days.

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - ECTs and experienced teachers welcome to apply.

  • Recent UK teaching experience in KS2, ideally in Year 5 or upper Key Stage 2.

  • Strong communication and organisational skills.

  • A positive attitude, enthusiasm for teaching, and commitment to pupil progress.
