Teaching Assistant - Greenwich

Full-Time | Long-Term | Immediate Start | Mainstream Secondary School

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming secondary school in Greenwich. This is a full-time, long-term position starting immediately-ideal for someone passionate about supporting young people and making a real difference in education.

As a Teaching Assistant, you'll work closely with teachers to support students across a range of subjects, providing one-to-one and small group interventions, assisting with classroom management, and helping to maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students during lessons, providing academic and emotional support

  • Deliver targeted interventions to help students reach their full potential

  • Assist teachers with lesson preparation and classroom organisation

  • Contribute to a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment

  • Support students with additional needs as required

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children or young people (in schools, youth work, or similar)

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • A patient, proactive, and reliable approach

  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
