About the Role
Are you a people person who loves making a difference? We are looking for a School Finance & Customer Support Officer to join our friendly and community-driven school in Accrington.

You'll be a key link between families, social workers, local authorities, and school staff, ensuring smooth communication and efficient operation's. Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver outstanding customer service to parents, staff, and external partner's.
  • Manage purchase orders, invoices, and payment tracking.
  • Liaise effectively with social workers and local authorities.
  • Support finance and administration processes within the school.
  • Maintain accurate financial records using systems such as School Pod.
  • Handle referrals and follow-ups with care and attention to detail.
  • Work collaboratively across departments to enhance efficiency and service quality.
What We're Looking For
  • Experience in a school, education, or local authority setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skill's.
  • A proactive, people-first attitude and strong customer focus.
  • Organised and confident managing multiple priorities.
  • A positive, solution-driven approach with genuine enthusiasm for helping others.
  • Experience using finance systems (training can be provided).
