  • Start Date: Monday 3rd November

Tradewind Recruitment are delighted to be working with a welcoming and inclusive two-form entry primary school in Dagenham, set within a friendly local community with excellent facilities and spacious outdoor areas. The school is currently seeking a dedicated Early Years Practitioner to support children in the EYFS on a full-time basis for the academic year.

This is an excellent opportunity for experienced nursery practitioners looking to transition into a school setting, where hours are structured, and you benefit from term-time only working.

You'll be joining a warm and supportive team that values play-based learning, creativity, and early development. The school takes pride in fostering a nurturing environment that encourages children to grow in confidence, communication, and curiosity.

If you have experience working in Early Years or nursery settings-particularly supporting children with communication and language development, early literacy and numeracy, or social and emotional needs-this could be the ideal next step in your career. Training in phonics, PECS or Makaton is desirable but not essential.

  • Desirable: Training or experience with phonics, PECS or Makaton

  • Patience, creativity, and a genuine passion for supporting children's early development

  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to follow direction from class teachers and the EYFS lead
