Maths Teacher - Secondary School (Northamptonshire)

About the Role

Tradewind Recruitment is looking for a dedicated and passionate Maths Teacher to join a secondary school in Northamptonshire. This role is ideal for qualified teachers, NQTs, or experienced educators who want to make a positive impact on students' learning and development.

You will be responsible for delivering engaging and challenging maths lessons, supporting students' understanding across Key Stages 3 and 4, and fostering a love of mathematics in the classroom.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver high-quality maths lessons in line with the curriculum.
Support students' learning and progress, adapting lessons to meet individual needs.
Maintain a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment.
Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
Support extracurricular activities such as maths clubs or competitions.
Adhere to school policies for behaviour, safeguarding, and health & safety.

Requirements

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Experience teaching secondary maths (NQTs are welcome).
Excellent subject knowledge across Key Stages 3 and 4.
Strong classroom management and communication skills.
Flexible and reliable with the ability to cover full-time or part-time placements.
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply via Tradewind Recruitment).
