Maths Teacher - Secondary School - Wellingborough Area

Location: Wellingborough, Northamptonshire
Contract Type: Full-time / Long-term (with potential for permanent placement)
Salary: MPS/UPS (dependent on experience)

Tradewind Recruitment are currently seeking a dynamic and dedicated Maths Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in the Wellingborough area. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator to inspire a love of mathematics and support students in achieving their academic goals.

About the Role:

• Teaching Mathematics across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 desirable but not essential)

• Planning and delivering high-quality, engaging lessons that promote mathematical understanding and problem-solving

• Using creative teaching approaches to build confidence and enthusiasm for Maths

• Monitoring student progress and providing constructive feedback to ensure achievement

• Participating in departmental collaboration, CPD opportunities, and whole-school initiatives

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

• Excellent subject knowledge and a genuine passion for Maths

• Experience teaching in UK secondary schools (including ECTs encouraged to apply)

• Strong classroom management and communication skills

• A commitment to raising standards and fostering a positive learning environment
