Sports Coach - High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire
The School:
We are working with a vibrant secondary school in the High Wycombe area, seeking an enthusiastic and engaging Sports Coach to support curriculum PE lessons, run extra-curricular clubs and promote a healthy, active school community culture.
This is an outstanding opportunity for someone passionate about sport, physical activity and student engagement!
The Role:
- Support the delivery of PE lessons: working alongside teaching staff to plan, assist and enhance curriculum delivery.
- Host and lead extra-curricular clubs and events (breakfast, lunchtime and after-school).
- Promote physical activity and healthy living: encouraging participation and active lifestyle
- Coordinate community-sport links: liaise with local clubs, organisations and specialists to widen sports provision.
The Requirements:
- A strong sporting background and experience in coaching or leading physical activity in a school or youth setting.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills; ability to inspire and engage young people across key stages.
- A team mindset: working effectively to maximise pupil progression
