Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) - Secondary School
Location: Wellingborough, Northamptonshire
Pay: £90 - £110 per day (depending on experience)
Contract Type: Full-time, Long-term (with potential to become permanent)

 Tradewind Recruitment is currently working with a forward-thinking secondary school in the Wellingborough area who are seeking a dedicated and confident Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join their friendly and supportive team.
The Role:
As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Deliver pre-planned lessons to whole classes in the absence of the class teacher 
- Support students across KS3 and KS4 with their academic progress and personal development 
- Lead small group interventions and targeted learning sessions 
- Work alongside teachers to plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons 
- Contribute to creating a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment

Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
 HLTA qualification or equivalent experience (e.g. proven classroom cover experience)
A solid understanding of the secondary curriculum
 Excellent communication and organisational skills
 A proactive, flexible and positive approach to supporting teaching and learning
A valid DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one through Tradewind)
