Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming mainstream secondary school in Greenwich. This is a full-time, long-term position starting immediately-perfect for someone looking to make a meaningful impact in education and gain valuable classroom experience.
As a Teaching Assistant, you'll play a key role in supporting students' learning and development, both in the classroom and through small group or one-to-one work. Working closely with teachers and support staff, you'll help create a positive, engaging, and inclusive learning environment where every student can thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
Support students with learning and engagement across a range of subjects
Provide 1:1 and small group interventions to help pupils reach their potential
Assist teachers with lesson preparation and classroom organisation
Promote positive behaviour and contribute to a supportive school culture
We're Looking For:
Experience working with children or young people (school, tutoring, mentoring, or similar)
A proactive and adaptable approach with excellent communication skills
A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
A genuine passion for education and supporting young people
