Tradewind Recruitment is working with a welcoming mainstream secondary school in Lewisham that is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Learning Support Assistant to join their team immediately. This full-time, long-term position will continue until the end of the academic year, with the potential for extension.

In this rewarding role, you will provide one-to-one and small group support to students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), helping them to access learning, build confidence, and reach their full potential. You'll work closely with teachers and the SEN department to ensure every student receives the tailored support they need to thrive.

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience working with children or young people (in a school, tutoring, or youth setting)

  • Experience supporting students with SEND

  • A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

  • A patient, adaptable, and proactive approach to learning support
