Primary Teacher

A welcoming and inclusive primary school in the Moston area of Manchester is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 3 Teacher to join their team from January 2026. This is a full-time, long-term position running until July 2026, with the strong possibility of the role becoming permanent for the right candidate.

Staff work collaboratively across year groups to share ideas, plan engaging lessons, and maintain high standards of teaching and learning.

The successful candidate will take full responsibility for a Year 3 class, guiding pupils through this crucial stage of their primary education. They will plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons that cover the full breadth of the lower KS2 National Curriculum, ensuring pupils are well-prepared for their journey into the rest of Key Stage 2.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver creative, differentiated lessons that meet the needs of all learners.
• Track and assess pupil progress, maintaining accurate records and providing constructive feedback.
• Create a positive, nurturing classroom environment where all children feel valued and motivated to succeed.
• Work closely with the parallel Year 3 teachers to share planning, resources, and best practice.
• Communicate effectively with parents, carers, and colleagues to support pupil development and well-being.
• Uphold the school's values and contribute to the wider school community and extracurricular life.

• Hold a relevant Teaching qualification
