Tradewind Recruitment are proud to be supporting a number of Pupil Referral Units (PRUs) across Stockport, providing education for young people who have been excluded from mainstream school or who need additional behavioural, emotional, or social support.

We're seeking dedicated and resilient Teachers who are passionate about helping students re-engage with learning, build confidence, and achieve success in a supportive, alternative education setting.

About the Role:

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to small groups of students with diverse needs.

• Use creative strategies to inspire learners who may have previously disengaged from education.

• Foster positive relationships and promote emotional wellbeing and resilience.

• Work closely with support staff, pastoral teams, and other professionals to ensure each child's progress.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or QTLS) - all subjects considered.

• Experience working with students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs or challenging behaviour.

• Strong behaviour management and a calm, nurturing approach.

• A genuine desire to make a difference in the lives of vulnerable young people.
