Flexible 1:1 Tutor Roles - Support Students Across Corby with Tradewind Recruitment

Tradewind Recruitment is looking for dedicated 1:1 Tutors to deliver personalised tuition sessions in Maths, English, and Science to students who are currently working below their age-related expectations.

These tutoring sessions are designed to help students bridge gaps in their learning, rebuild confidence, and develop core academic skills. Many of the pupils referred to us are awaiting placement in specialist provisions, transitioning back into mainstream education, or may have missed significant time from school due to medical, social, or emotional challenges. Each referral is unique, offering you the chance to make a real, measurable difference in a young person's educational journey.

As a 1:1 Tutor with Tradewind Recruitment, you'll work with students in individual or small-group sessions, which may take place in schools, local learning centres, or home environments. You'll have the autonomy to plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to each student's ability, focusing on key subject areas and helping them to achieve realistic, meaningful progress.

We're looking for educators who:

  • Have experience teaching or tutoring in Maths, English, or Science.

  • Can adapt teaching methods to meet individual learning needs.

  • Are patient, empathetic, and committed to supporting students who face barriers to learning.

  • Hold QTS, a teaching qualification, or substantial relevant tutoring experience.
