Class Teacher - West Drayton
Full-time | January 2026 start | Long-term until July 2026 | Year group TBC

Tradewind Recruitment are currently working with a welcoming 3-form entry primary school in West Drayton, who are seeking a qualified Class Teacher to join their team from January 2026. This is a long-term position until the end of the academic year, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

About the Role:
The successful teacher will be responsible for a full-time class within the primary phase (year group to be confirmed based on experience and preference). You will be expected to plan, deliver and assess engaging lessons that meet the needs of all learners, following the school's established curriculum and policies.

Responsibilities include:

  • Planning and delivering high-quality lessons in line with the national curriculum.

  • Monitoring and assessing pupil progress to ensure strong outcomes.

  • Contributing to the wider life of the school, including meetings, parent evenings and INSET days.

  • Creating a positive, inclusive classroom environment where every child can thrive.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.

  • Experience teaching within a UK primary school.

  • Strong understanding of effective teaching and learning strategies.

  • Excellent communication, organisation and behaviour management skills.

  • Commitment to working as part of a supportive, collaborative team.
