Maths Teaching Assistant - Secondary School (Tower Hamlets)

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Maths Teaching Assistant to join our supportive secondary school in Tower Hamlets. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in students' learning and contribute to their success in mathematics.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide targeted support to students in and out of the classroom.

• Work closely with teachers to deliver lessons, reinforce learning, and help students grasp challenging concepts.

• Support small group or one-to-one interventions to boost students' confidence and attainment.

• Assist with preparation of resources and classroom management.

• Monitor and record student progress, feeding back to teachers to inform planning.

We're looking for someone who:

• Has experience working with secondary school students, ideally in maths or a related subject.

• Demonstrates strong numeracy skills and a good understanding of the curriculum.

• Can build positive relationships with students and support their learning in an encouraging way.

• Is organised, proactive, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
