Salary: £90 - £110 per day (dependent on experience)

Learning Support Assistant - Kettering

Tradewind Recruitment are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join a friendly and supportive secondary school in the Kettering area. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about helping young people reach their full potential in both their academic and personal development.

You will be working closely with students who require additional support, helping them access the curriculum, stay engaged, and achieve positive outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 and small-group support to students

  • Assist teachers in planning and delivering classroom activities

  • Support students with additional or special educational needs

  • Promote a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment

  • Help manage behaviour and encourage engagement

  • Work collaboratively with teaching staff and the wider support team

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Experience working with children or young people

  • A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

  • A genuine interest in supporting secondary-aged students

  • An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
