Spanish Teaching Assistant (Full Time) - January 2026 Start
Must be a native Spanish speaker or fully fluent in Spanish

Starting in January 2026 a secondary school in Slough is seeking a committed Spanish Teaching Assistant to support Spanish lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (Years 7-10). This full-time post will run until July 2026.

Important: Spanish must be your first language, or you must be fully fluent in written, spoken, and reading Spanish.

You will work directly in classrooms, supporting students during Spanish lessons and helping to create a positive, engaging learning environment. The school prides itself on high standards, inspiring teaching, and a strong commitment to student progress.

What We're Looking For

• A native Spanish speaker or someone with full fluency in Spanish

• A passionate individual committed to supporting secondary students

• Someone able to follow guidance from the SENCo and teaching staff

• An aspiring teacher (desired but not essential)

Key Responsibilities

• Supporting students during classroom activities

• Assisting teachers and following tasks set by your line manager

• Working confidently with students with special educational needs

• Being adaptable, punctual, and reliable
