Learning Support Assistant (LSA) - Hillingdon
Full-time | Long-term | Start January 2026 | PAYE

Tradewind Recruitment are seeking a dedicated and experienced Learning Support Assistant to join a mainstream primary school in Hillingdon. This is a full-time, long-term position, supporting pupils across Key Stages 1 and 2 from January 2026.

About the School:
This well-regarded primary school has two or three classes per year group, a supportive leadership team and a strong focus on inclusion and pupil progress. The school has modern classrooms, extensive outdoor space, and on-site parking, and is easily accessible via public transport. Staff enjoy a friendly, collaborative environment and the opportunity to make a real impact on pupils' learning.

Role Responsibilities:

• Supporting individual pupils or small groups in their learning.

• Assisting teachers with the planning and delivery of lessons.

• Helping pupils with special educational needs or English as an additional language (EAL).

• Implementing behaviour strategies to support a positive learning environment.

• Supervising pupils during activities, including break and lunch times if needed.

• Contributing to pupil assessment records and monitoring progress.

• Supporting school routines and events as required.

Requirements:

• Experience working in a UK primary school or similar educational setting.

• Strong understanding of classroom management and child development.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.

• Experience supporting pupils with special educational needs (SEN) is highly desirable.

• Level 2 or 3 qualification in supporting learning or equivalent experience preferred.
