We are working with a well-resourced secondary school and vocational department in Kettering who are looking to welcome a dedicated Hair & Beauty Teacher to their team. Whether you're seeking a permanent role or a long-term placement, full-time opportunities are available to start as soon as possible or from January.

Your Responsibilities

  • Teaching Hair & Beauty across KS4 and KS5, including vocational pathways

  • Planning and delivering practical and theory-based lessons that bring the industry to life

  • Supporting learners of all abilities through high-quality, hands-on teaching

  • Demonstrating professional techniques safely and effectively in a salon-style environment

  • Contributing to curriculum development and collaborating with a passionate vocational team

  • Encouraging students' creativity, confidence, and progression into the hair and beauty industry

What We're Looking For

  • A recognised Hair & Beauty teaching qualification (or significant industry experience with a willingness to work towards QTS/QTLS)

  • Strong practical skills across hairdressing and/or beauty therapy

  • Up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, trends, and health & safety requirements

  • A supportive and motivating classroom presence with the ability to inspire young learners

  • A team-oriented approach and enthusiasm for contributing to a thriving vocational department
