Teaching Assistant (Year 1/2) - Blackburn Area - Mornings Only - Start January 2026

Location: Blackburn, Lancashire
Start Date: January 2026
Hours: Mornings only (Part-time)

Are you passionate about supporting young learners in their early education journey? We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our friendly primary school team in the Blackburn area, working with Year 1 and Year 2 pupils.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide classroom support to the teacher and pupils in Year 1 and Year 2.
  • Assist with small group activities and individual learning.
  • Help create a positive and engaging learning environment.
  • Support pupils' social and emotional development.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with KS1 pupils (Year 1/2) preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and staff.
  • A caring and patient approach to supporting children.
