Job Description
A diverse and supportive secondary school in Haringey is recruiting a Behaviour Support Mentor to join them from January 2026. This role is perfect for someone who wants to positively influence young people's wellbeing, behaviour and engagement.
You'll work closely with students who need extra guidance, helping them build routines, manage emotions and make positive decisions. Your contribution will directly support improved attendance, focus and confidence.
Key aspects of the role:
- Providing targeted mentoring to individuals and small groups
- Supporting students with behaviour regulation
- Working with staff to ensure consistent approaches across the school
- Acting as a positive and reliable role model
Ideal candidates will have:
- Experience supporting young people (school, youth work or similar)
- Calmness under pressure
- Strong communication and teamwork
- An Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)
