SEN Tutor -
Start: January
Type: In-person, ongoing role

We're currently recruiting for an SEN Tutor to support students in Sefton from January. This is an in-person role working with young people who require tailored, one-to-one support outside the mainstream classroom. You'll be helping learners build confidence, make academic progress and develop key life skills.

What you'll be doing:

  • Delivering 1:1 tuition to students with a range of additional needs

  • Planning and adapting sessions to suit individual learning levels

  • Supporting with English, Maths or functional skills

  • Providing consistent encouragement to help students re-engage with education

  • Working closely with parents, carers and school staff

What we're looking for:

  • Experience supporting SEN learners (schools, tutoring or youth support settings)

  • Ability to build positive relationships and motivate disengaged students

  • Strong behaviour management and a calm, supportive approach

  • Reliable, organised and confident planning your own sessions
