We're looking for a Small Group Tutor to support pupils in Sefton from January. This role involves working with groups of 3-6 students who need extra help to boost progress and confidence in core subjects.

The role:

  • Delivering targeted small-group sessions in English, Maths or general catch-up

  • Adapting resources to suit mixed-ability learners

  • Supporting pupils to close learning gaps and stay engaged

  • Working alongside the school's SEN and intervention teams

What you need:

  • Recent experience tutoring or supporting learners in a school or intervention setting

  • Confidence planning short, purposeful sessions

  • Strong communication and ability to motivate groups

  • A patient, positive approach
