About the Role

We are looking for a skilled English Teacher who can deliver engaging and creative lessons across KS3 and KS4. Whether you're looking for short-term day-to-day work or longer-term supply opportunities, this role offers flexibility to suit your lifestyle while allowing you to make a meaningful impact on students' learning.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver well-structured English lessons to KS3/KS4 pupils

  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment

  • Adapt teaching materials to meet the needs of individual learners

  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively

  • Mark work and provide constructive feedback where required

  • Uphold the school's values and contribute to a supportive team culture

Requirements

  • QTS or equivalent teaching qualification

  • Experience teaching English in a UK secondary school

  • Strong subject knowledge and effective classroom management skills

  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

  • A commitment to high standards of teaching and learning
